Colca Canyon

02: 30 / 3.00am. Pick up at your hotel and departure from Arequipa (2325 masl) heading north along the snowy Chachani towards Chivay (3hrs and a half).

Breakfast in Chivay (2325 masl) we continue the trip for 2 hours to "The viewpoint of Cruz del Cóndor (3500 masl)" where you can see the flight of the Condors and the best panoramic view of the Canyon, as well as the depth of 1,200 m. From the lookout to the river.

In the Cruz del Condor we stay around 2 hrs. In the return to Chivay we pass by: Pinchollo the most characteristic town of the Valley, we appreciate the pre-Inca Hanging Tombs, the most characteristic Petromaqueta of the Colca Valley, we also stop at the Antahuilque Viewpoint, and then continue through, Maca, Achoma, Yanque with its monumental temple in the Baroque style (in this last town a stop is made).

p.m Arrival in Chivay, Visit to the thermal baths "La Calera" (optional). Lunch and return to the White City; with stops at: Patapampa or Mirador de los Andes, Alto Sumbay, Salinas National Reserve and Aguada blanca, habitat of the four species of South American camelids, especially the Vicuña.
