DAY 1

 

The tour begins with a visit to the Train Cemetery, which is the remains of machinery dating from the late nineteenth century, after 30 minutes you will visit Colchani small town where you will observe the salt process, if you like to buy crafts made from salt Or textiles, llama wool or alpaca is a good place to choose one, then prepare to see the wonderful Salar de Uyuni that has more than 10,000 square kilometers, within the Salar you will appreciate the Salt Mounds (small pyramids of salt that the people of village to make dry and then process the salt), then you will see the Salar Eyes (which are natural conduits through which salt water circulates and end up in holes) then you will know the first and only Salt Hotel (Museum) within the salar, continuing with the tour you will go directly to the Incawasi Island where you will see giant cactus, petrified coral rock formations and a spectacular panoramic view of the Salar, in this place degu will star your lunch.

 

Continuing with the tour, you will enjoy the landscape in the middle of the salt and of course there will be pictures taken with perspective, finally you will arrive at the town of San Juan where you will spend the night.

 

DAY 2

 

The tour starts at 08:00 a.m. We will pass by the viewpoint of Ollague Volcano (5,865 masl), from where you can see the smoke that emanates the active Volcano, then you can see the Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Chiarcota and Laguna Ramaditas lagoons, which are used by the flamingos as points of Food and rest during your migratory movements, after this you will pass through the Siloli Desert where the Stone Tree is found whose evolution and form are due to the wind erosion of time, finally prepare to see the Laguna Colorada named after the reddish color of its waters and that is the door of entrance to the Reserve Eduardo Abaroa. Anyone who enters the REA must register at one of the different checkpoints and pay their income.

 

You will spend the night in the small town of Huayllajara.

 

DAY 3

 

Prepare for a long day, the tour starts early at 05:00 hours, you should be warm, we will start with the visit to the Geisers (4,950 meters above sea level) where you can observe volcanic activity, fumaroles that emit toxic gas, Geysers where lava burns with a strong smell of sulfur, then you can enjoy a hot natural bath in hot springs (280C to 300C), where breakfast will also be served, we will pass through the Dalí Desert where rock formations are observed, we will continue visiting Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde which is at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano (5,930 meters above sea level), if you like to finish the tour in San Pedro (Chile) we will go to the border Bolivia-Chile Hito Cajones (optional transfer to San Pedro de Atacama to hours 10:00 am). On the way back to Uyuni we will visit Valle de Rocas where there are huge and giant blocks of rocks some reddish on others and polished by nature and wind erosion finally visit the town of San Cristobal. The approximate time of arrival in Uyuni is 6:00 p.m.
