Caleta El Ñuro is a small fishing village located 7 kms from Los Órganos and 23 kms from Mancora. In addition to its beauty with desert shades of its beach and turquoise sea, El Ñuro is currently known for its sea turtles that have made the resort pier its permanent residence.

Only a few years ago the first sea turtles appeared on the beach of El Ñuro, looking for food obtained and shelter near the dock of the northern cove. Little by little the turtles began to populate the area and thanks to local projects the fishermen and people of El Ñuro proposed to take care of these animals, in addition to being a nice tourist activity for children and adults. The ideal is to see the turtles from the pier of El Ñuro (5 soles - USD1.5 approx per person) or also to see them swim from the water, always at a safe distance and avoid touching them.
