Geysers Del Tatio
Live Your Dreams
Geysers of the Tatio
The adventure begins at 4:30 in the morning to see the sunrise in the third largest geothermal field in the world, located about 90 kilometers San Pedro (almost an hour and a half of travel). You can admire more than 80 active geysers, with eruptions of approximately 75 centimeters, transforming it into the largest and highest in the southern hemisphere.
The field also has a Rustic Pozo thermal water in which only the brave can bathe, since the temperatures range between -20 ° C in winter and 0 ° C in summer.
Then, enjoy an exquisite breakfast to continue the tour to the town of Machuca, one of the oldest in the region, consisting of no more than 20 houses, famous for its typical food, including llama meat.
As a trivia data, did you know that Tatio in Quechua means "oven"?
