CIRCUITO W LOWCOST  EM CAMPING 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS

DAY 1 - PUNTA ARENAS AIRPORT - PUERTO NATALES - (Cruise preparation)

We start with a 3 hour trip by regular bus from the Punta Arenas Airport to Puerto Natales, passing through the Magellanic Pampas and enjoying the view of the characteristic trees, which as a result of the wind bend to one side. Arriving in Puerto Natales you can see snowy mountains, rivers, lakes and the bosom of Última Esperanza. When arriving at the rodoviario, our guide will wait for us to go to the hostel where room is shared with part of the group and where we will spend the night.

 

DAY 2 - PUERTO NATALES - TORRES DEL PAINE

Difficulty: High

At 07:00 am we will go on a regular bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park, arriving at the entrance of Laguna Amarga. At this point we will check-in at the Conaf goal. Here is a brief talk of the National Park and we will see a mandatory video of the Park and its care. Then, we will take a van approach from Laguna Amarga to Torre Central.

Camping Torre Central - Mirador Base Torres - Camping Torre Central

In Torre Central we will carry out our Check-In at the campsite and with an attack backpack, we begin the ascent at approximately 12:00 pm towards the "Base Torres" viewpoint.
The hike is along a path of high difficulty, uphill and bordering Mount Almirante Nieto, on the left and the Valley and Asencio River, on the right, arriving at El Chileno refuge where we will stop to rest. From there, we will walk under the forest of Lengas and rivers that feed the main stream of the Ascencio to reach the Morrena where we can see the tips of Las Torres; We continue climbing another hour, until we reach the Mirador Base Torres (890 masl) where you can see the granite massifs that rise up to 2850 meters above sea level. Adorned by a lagoon at the foot of the base and a hanging glacier by its side, thus building a natural wonder visited by thousands of people each season.

After visiting the Torres del Paine viewpoint, we return to the campsite at Torres Central, where we will rest and renew energy for the next day.

 

DAY 3 - CAMPING TORRE CENTRAL- CAMPING FRENCH

Difficulty: Medium - High

We start at 10:00 in the morning from the Refugio Torre Central towards the Refugio "Los Cuernos" (trekking from 4 to 5 hours app.) Where we will walk through a path of medium difficulty - high and with a view to Monte Almirante Grandson and Lake Nordenskjold, we will make a couple of stops to rest and enjoy the flora and fauna of the place. Passing through the Los Cuernos refuge, Los Cuernos del Paine will appear in all its splendor, a massif between 2000 and 2600 meters. Tall. We will continue until we reach Camping Frances, located in the French Valley, where we will spend the night.

 

DAY 4 - FRENCH CAMPING - FRANCÉS VALLEY - CAMPING PAINE GRANDE.

Difficulty: Medium - High

We will leave after breakfast our trek to the Valle del Francés, where we will be surrounded by granite and moraine massifs reclaimed by lengas ñirres and coigües forests. The big backpacks will be left in Italian camping and later, we will start the ascent to the viewpoint of the French Valley with only an attack backpack. Then we will go down to look for our things to the camp to continue with destination to the Paine Grande Refuge located in front of Cerro Paine Grande that consists of 4 peaks, being the largest, the main summit with 3,050 meters high.

 

DAY 5 - Camping Paine Grande - Viewpoint Glacier Gray - Paine Grande.

Difficulty: High

After breakfast with the view of the imposing Cerro Paine Grande and the beautiful Pehoé Lake, we will begin our trekking with an attack backpack to the Gray Glacier Viewpoint that is part of the impressive Southern Ice Field and third largest source of fresh water on the planet , are 22 kilometers from the Paine Grande refuge to the Gray refuge on a path of medium difficulty, rocky and in some cases windy, depending on the climate.

We will walk for 9 hours (round trip) approximately, stopping at some viewpoints where we can appreciate the Gray Glacier and the lake that bears the same name. When arriving at the Gray refuge, we will take advantage of the day and we will go to some viewpoints to see the glacier in all its extension and also, to see other mountainous cords that adorn this imposing snowdrift. After this activity, we will return to the Paine Grande Refuge where we will spend the last night.

 

DAY 6 - Paine Grande - Puerto Natales.

On the last day of our adventure, after breakfast, we will sail from Lake Pehoé at 12:00 pm to return to Puerto Natales at 6:00 p.m. Farewell and end of the tour.

Considered one of the best trekking in the world, the circuit called "W" in the Torres del Paine National Park, does not leave indifferent to those who travel.
