📆 Full Itinerary

Day 1 – Cusco › Mollepata › Soraypampa  
- 04:30 am – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco  
- Breakfast stop in Mollepata  
- Trek to Soraypampa (3,900 m)

- Optional hike to the stunning Humantay Lake  
- Overnight: Mountain campsite with views of Salkantay glacier

Day 2 – Soraypampa › Salkantay Pass › Chaullay  
- Most challenging and epic day  
- Cross the high Salkantay Pass (4,650 m)  
- Lunch in Huayracmachay  
- Enter the high jungle, full of life and color  
- Overnight: Campsite or rustic lodge in Chaullay

Day 3 – Chaullay › La Playa › Lucmabamba  
- Trek through tropical forest and coffee plantations  
- Connect with local communities and culture  
- Optional coffee experience  
- Overnight: Family lodge in Lucmabamba

Day 4 – Lucmabamba › Llactapata › Aguas Calientes  
- Hike part of the original Inca Trail to Llactapata, a hidden site with views of Machu Picchu  
- Descend to Hydroelectric station  
- Walk or take train to Aguas Calientes  
- Overnight: 3★ hotel in Aguas Calientes

Day 5 – Machu Picchu: The Grand Finale  
- Early breakfast at hotel  
- 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu  
- Free time to explore or hike Huayna Picchu (optional, must reserve)  
- Train return to Ollantaytambo + van to Cusco  
- Arrival around 8:00 pm at your hotel
