Valle Nevado is a ski resort located in the Andes Mountains, 46 kilometers from the city of Santiago. Currently, it is the largest center for snow sports in the Southern Hemisphere.
The season begins when the snow arrives, usually in mid-June, and ends when it leaves, in mid-September. The resort has approximately 800 hectares of skiable area comprised of 102 trails, of which 14% are for beginners, 30% for intermediates, 42% for advanced skiers, and 14% for experts. The resort has a total of 8 ski lifts.

Departure time: between 6:00 and 7:00 AM
- Stop to pick up clothing and equipment kit at 8:00 AM
- Arrival in Valle Nevado scheduled for 10:00 AM (depending on traffic)

Recommendations:
- Bring a water bottle to drink during the tour or buy one at the first stop and a snack for lunch if you don't want to spend too much on expensive meals in the Andes.
- Bring extra clothes to change into if you get wet.
- Sunscreen. Don't be fooled, the sun burns even in the cold.
- Sunglasses (or your own rented protective goggles)
- Always carry your valuables with you.
